Analyzing and Prioritizing the Barriers and Solutions of Sustainable Agriculture for Promoting Sustainable Development Goals in China

Sustainable agriculture is crucial to the United Nations’ efforts promote Development Goals (SDGs). However, develop successful policies and strategies, it necessary assess many obstacles implementing sustainable agriculture. This study uses Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques analyze challenges opportunities facing in China’s economy, particularly advancing SDGs. Three enormous are found study, along with fifteen smaller ones that broken down into economic, social, environmental categories. The weights of sub-barriers determined, solutions for ranked using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methodologies. According AHP approach, economic issues most significant agriculture, followed by social concerns. Climate change a lack financial incentives two highest-ranked sub-barriers. On other hand, SAW approach suggests best ways achieve SDGs through international cooperation, investments alternative agricultural methods. In order advance China, report advises policymakers focus on strengthening institutional support, increasing public awareness, making technological investments.
